Sports are the one of the ways to foster national unity. Children who play together and eventually will stand together as a nation when they become adults. Besides, sports in school will lead students to co-operate with each other even with different races and religions. More over, government policies on national unity is the nature of integration, namely through the adjustment with a variety of cultural and social characteristics that can be accepted by all ethnics group in our country.
Next, parents also played important roles in fostering unit in country by their children. Parents should nourished their children about the importance of unity in country. Children are the person who will take charge the country in future. So they must be more matured and realized how importance if unity in country applied. Parents should take their children to celebrate independence day together.
Conclusion, fostering unity in country are important to keep our country peace and advanced. By united in action, our country economic will more stable.

The best way to foster national unity is still compulsory military conscription. This is due to the inclusion of all men productively, to work together. Just look at Singapore. Without compulsory military conscription, there would not have been tolerance and understanding in this heterogeneous society. Nonetheless, regardless of the means to getting there, the most important thing is still unity within a nation. If this unity, understanding, love and tolerance for all people within a nation has been incalcated into children from young, and everyone lives such values out, perhaps we would not need to think of so many means to foster national unity.
ReplyDeleteFor me,in addition fostering national unity in our country is we must sing the national anthem to nourish the patriotism in our life.we know some of malaysians did not care about the importance of singing the national anthem(NEGARAKU).so we should sing the national anthem vigorously.last but not least broadcast station also played their role by playing the NEGARAKU song in radio and television everyday on every morning so they people nowadays can enhance the spirit of patriotic.by the way i hope tomorrow is better than today n_n..TQ..
ReplyDeleteIndeed there is so many ways to foster national unity. As for the fact that National Service is meant to foster better connection among youth of different races and region. Although, many people nowadays did not really care about the national unity. As we can see now, there are many issues involving region and races. These issues will bring a fight between us. So, to avoid it happen we as the Malaysians should respect our Government. Respect other races and region in Malaysia. I believe, if we always practice to foster national unity in our daily life, we can achieve the Wawasan 2020 goals. By the way, I am proud to be Malaysians, because we still live together in one nation that have various of races and region. Thanks! This helping me with my assignment. :)
ReplyDeleteIn my oppinion, another way to fostering national unity is in education. Students are needed to be told by teachers early about the importanceof national unity. Students also can fostering national unity by making discussion group among different races and religions. By this way, they can unite their thinking and become well co-operate among them. Besides that, students encouraged oftenly to do all the assignment, project work and homework with each other among different races. Schools are advise to do competition abou multiracial such as theatre, forums and debate. I hope all this ways can foster national unity in our country. Conclusion, students also played important role to fostering national unity.
